IFMA NYC's 50-hour “Essentials of FM” Program & Partnership with Hot Bread Kitchen

IFMA NYC is excited to announce our partnership with the IFMA Foundation and Hot Bread Kitchen, a nonprofit organization launching a new FM program this year. Since 2008, Hot Bread Kitchen has been dedicated to establishing economic mobility and security for people impacted by gender, racial, social, and/or economic inequality in New York City.

We are proud to support Hot Bread Kitchen’s 50-hour “Essentials of FM” program by IFMA NYC, which provides professional skills and technical training for women to successfully enter the field. This will not only help fill a projected talent shortage in the industry with a more diverse workforce, but it will also increase employee retention rates in organizations across the industry. Once these women graduate and are paired with employers to fill the FM roles, Hot Bread Kitchen will continue to provide comprehensive support services to graduates post-hire.

This program is part of the IFMA Foundation’s Global Workforce Initiative, which provides educational advancement and economic mobility to students interested in career opportunities in facility management.
